This crucial role within the Aligned Leisure operations will lead the delivery of high quality and well renowned
swim programs, sports programming and facility usage including hire agreements, with excellent
communication to Caulfield Grammar School and its customers.
An important member of the Leadership Team, they will work across all campuses to best utilise community
assets to deliver on Caulfield Grammar Schools plans.
The department head will lead a team of well-trained teachers and supervisors to deliver consistently
exceptional service to students and users throughout every lesson and use of the facility. They will maximise
sales and retention of students/users with a major focus on expanding the number of residents regularly
undertaking vital swimming lessons and sporting programming.
The Head of Programs will also work closely with the Leisure Manager and Caulfield Grammar’s Facilities
Coordinator to drive occupancy in other associated aquatic and recreation swim programs and user groups.
They will work relentlessly to support implementing the Aligned Leisure values of AWARE, DISCIPLINED,
RELENTLESS and UNITED.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Teacher of swimming and Water Safety
- Teacher of Infants and Pre School (desirable)
- Teacher of Inclusive Aquatics (desirable)
- Lifeguard Certification
- CPR
- First Aid
- Working with Children Check – Vic
- Industry experience and license
- Pool Operations (Desirable)
