The Richmond Football Club has appointed new club director Joe Powell to join the Aligned Leisure Board. This appointment comes on the back of the Richmond Board unanimously accepting the recommendations of the Nominations Committee that former Hay Group (Pacific) managing director Henriette Rothschild, and former managing director SEEK Education, Joe Powell, fill the vacancies. Aligned Leisure, operators of Cardinia Shire’s major aquatic and recreation facilities, have raised $27,000 for the Casey Cardinia Foundation. The funds were raised with support from Aligned Leisure’s commercial partners at the inaugural fundraiser for the Foundation, held at the Pakenham Racing Club on Thursday, February 9. This unique program is aimed at developing the next generation of leaders within the sports industry and combines a Diploma of Sport Development with a Diploma of Leadership and Management.
