The Richmond Football Club has appointed new club director Joe Powell to join the Aligned Leisure Board. This appointment comes on the back of the Richmond Board unanimously accepting the recommendations of the Nominations Committee that former Hay Group (Pacific) managing director Henriette Rothschild, and former managing director SEEK Education, Joe Powell, fill the vacancies. Aligned Leisure, operators of Cardinia Shire’s major aquatic and recreation facilities, have raised $27,000 for the Casey Cardinia Foundation. Experienced and highly regarded facility manager Simon Bryson has been appointed as Cardinia Leisure Manager. This unique program is aimed at developing the next generation of leaders within the sports industry and combines a Diploma of Sport Development with a Diploma of Leadership and Management. The centre has been fitted with brand new Precor cardio and strength equipment, which integrates Preva technology. New treadmills, exercise bikes, rowing and step machines have replaced existing equipment, as well as new weight machines.
