Regular communication and engagement has been the cornerstone of our customer strategy throughout this health crisis and our re-opening plan was no different.

To best inform our strategy, our team conducted a significant customer research project, with over 4,000 customers engaged through an online survey. The research provided our partners, the broader community and leisure industry with invaluable information to navigate the complicated reopening stage.

The research tested our customer’s attitudes to the coronavirus, their likelihood to return to regular activity, and the critical safety measures they believe are essential to maintain their health.

Importantly, we gained an understanding of the likely participation and financial models necessary to re-launch our facilities as we brought them back online.

Aligned Leisure has made this information publically available to assist others in their re-opening planning.
