Head of Fitness and Programs – Nillumbik Leisure Facilities

The Department Head will lead four fitness Team Leader’s, the Healthy Nillumbik Coordinator and fitness professionals at the Nillumbik Leisure Facilities to deliver exceptional service to our customers, helping them to set and achieve their personal health and wellness goals. By staying abreast of important industry innovations and technological advancements in health and fitness, the Department Head will assist to maximise membership sales and retention, whilst at the same time, providing a motivating and exciting place to work for their staff team.

In addition, the Head of Fitness & Programs will lead the implementation of fitness and programs throughout the Nillumbik Shire and support the Healthy Nillumbik Coordinator in the delivery of the notable Healthy Nillumbik program. An important member of the Leadership Team, they will work within and outside the “four walls” to best utilise community assets to deliver on important Council plans.

Nillumbik Leisure Facilities

Features five Leisure Facilities across the Nillumbik shire; Eltham Leisure Centre, Diamond Creek Community Centre, Community Bank Stadium, Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre and Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool (Seasonal). 

Eltham Leisure Centre, Diamond Creek Community Centre and Diamond Valley Sports and Fitness Centre (currently undergoing redevelopment), host the three health clubs, with our Group Fitness program spread out across all five facilities.
