Aligned Leisure managed facilities in Cardinia and Nillumbik will add virtual fitness classes to complement the existing group fitness timetable.
Partnering with Les Mills, the worldwide leading group exercise powerhouse, customers will be able to join a class in front a large screen during hours when exercise studios are typically sitting idle.
“This is an exciting customer focused innovation” said Aligned Leisure General Manager of Operations Shane Dunne.
“Our customers, like everyone, are increasingly busy. By adding virtual classes to our extensive instructor led timetable, customers can now join a class when it suits their life; not our timetable”.
“After analysing the unique needs of each of these communities, our team identified that a complimentary virtual solution would provide enormous benefit, and get even more people active”.
Works are currently underway at both Cardinia Life and the Eltham Leisure Centre to prepare the centres for virtual fitness launching in September 2017. The launch will coincide with the release of the Spring Group Fitness timetables.
