Aligned Leisure has strengthened its world-class management systems with the successful recertification of its Quality (ISO 9001), Environmental (ISO 14001) and Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001) management systems, alongside newly awarded certification in Risk Management (ISO 31000) across all partnerships and facilities. These certifications continue to validate Aligned Leisure’s commitment to delivering safe, sustainable and high-quality aquatic and leisure experiences for the communities it serves.
The additional ISO 31000 certification recognises Aligned Leisure’s structured, organisation-wide approach to identifying, assessing and managing risks in collaboration with its partners. The standard provides a proven and verified framework that supports better decision making, resilience and continuous improvement across all facilities under management.
Aligned Leisure Chief Executive Officer Ben Tudhope said the renewed certifications and new ISO 31000 recognition reflect the company’s ongoing focus on robust systems that support people and partners.
“Receiving continued external validation of our quality, environmental and safety systems, and now formal recognition of our risk management framework, demonstrates the depth of our commitment to our partners and communities,” Mr Tudhope said.
“These certifications give our partners confidence that their facilities are operated to internationally recognised standards and that we are proactively managing risk, not just responding to it when something goes wrong.”
Aligned Leisure’s integrated management system underpins operations at aquatic and leisure facilities managed on behalf of local government and education partners across Australia. Regular external audits against ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and now ISO 31000 ensure that governance, processes and on-the-ground practices remain verified.
