Aligned Leisure staff shine at 2023 ARV Awards

Aligned Leisure is thrilled to be able to congratulate staff members Zac Macciocca (Eltham Leisure Centre) and Dylan Henderson (Nillumbik Leisure Facilities) on their awards at the 2023 Aquatic and Recreation Victoria Awards,

The outstanding staff members were each commended as the standout in their field across the state, with Zac claiming ARV’s Duty Manager of the Year and Dylan the Gym Instructor/Personal Trainer Award.

Zac started working at Aligned Leisure as a lifeguard in 2019, where he quickly became a leader within the team and was rewarded with a move to be Duty Captain at Diamond Creek Outdoor Pool.

The talented sportsman and committed employee, was then quickly moved to the larger Eltham Leisure Centre to take the next step as a Duty Captain at the larger complex.

Zac’s leadership, energy and enthusiasm, swim teaching ability, and industry knowledge were noted as part of the award submission entered by his peers.

The popular figure was also commended for using his position to make a positive community impact, with his innovation and passion for promoting and helping to spark strong outcomes for charities and other initiatives.

Eltham Leisure Centre had an 18% membership growth rate in Q2 of 2022, with Zac’s energy, leadership, and friendly face seen as a key factor in the community appraisal.

Dylan Henderson’s recognition as the recipient of ARV’s Gym Instructor/Personal Trainer Award resulted from his well-known infectious energy, enthusiasm, knowledge, and ability to motivate all individuals.

Dylan joined Nillumbik Leisure Facilities in 2019 as a member before completing his Certificate III and IV in Fitness to become a personal trainer and secure employment.

The submission for Dylan’s award included proof of his strong work ethic and outstanding results his clients reached in 2022, constantly exceeding KPIs.

Dylan’s work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond for customers saw multiple referrals and inflation of members at the gym.

Incredibly, Dylan has not had a single client cease training with him since each began their journey with him – many of whom spoke glowingly of his prowess as part of the Awards process.

Aligned Leisure CEO Shane Dunne congratulated the award winners on their recognition.
