Aligned Leisure is thrilled to announce that Alison Neil has been appointed Casey Leisure Area Manager.
Alison joins Aligned Leisure with over 20 years of experience in sport, facility management, strategy, and government.
A local resident, Alison has a deep understanding of the Casey community, dating back to one of her first roles in the industry as Centre Coordinator at the Doveton Outdoor Pool in 2005.
Alison was also the Netball Director at the Casey Cardinia Football Netball League for two years (2008-10), such is her passion for local sport and recreation in the area.
After working in Aquatics and Venue Management at Monash University for four years (2009-13), Alison began working with the City of Casey, where her portfolio across six years included Community Sport, Community Development, Project Planning, and Advisory to the Director Community and Wellbeing and CEO.
In recent years, Alison has held leadership positions at the City of Stonnington and City of Greater Dandenong.
Alison, who also grew up in Casey, said it was “great to be back home.”
“I am thrilled to be given this amazing opportunity to join the Aligned Leisure family and commence as their first Area Manager for the City of Casey’s leisure facilities,” she said.
“Having grown up in Casey, it makes me so excited to have the opportunity to support the Aligned Leisure team in enhancing community wellbeing outcomes through leisure opportunities.”
Aligned Leisure CEO Shane Dunne said that Alison was the perfect person to oversee the management of City of Casey leisure facilities.
“Alison is passionate about the Casey area and, importantly, has expert knowledge and experience in Leisure Management and helping communities thrive,” he said.

Aligned Leisure will commence management of City of Casey’s seven leisure facilities on July 1, 2024.
The facilities; Casey ARC, Casey RACE, Doveton Pool in the Park, Casey Stadium, Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre, Olive Road Sporting Complex and The Shed Skatepark have a combined visitation of 3.5 million people annually.
