Bay Pavilions Wins Facility of the Year at NSW Aquatic Recreation Awards

Bay Pavilions Arts and Aquatic Centre, managed by Aligned Leisure, has won Facility of the Year at the 2023 NSW Aquatic Recreation Awards. This is the highest recognition within the industry, and a significant part of the reason for winning the award has been the amazing responses from the community and the social impact of the Bay Pavilions in the local area.

The Bay Pavilions has impressed through a team commitment to providing a world-class aquatic and arts experience for the Eurobodalla community. The centre features a variety of facilities, including a 25-metre lap pool, a warm water pool, a gym, water slides, a splash pad, a theatre, a gallery, and studios.

Bay Pavilions is more than just a place to swim and workout. It is also a community hub, where people of all ages and abilities can meet and connect with arts and creativity, aquatics, health and fitness. Beyond the facility itself, two of Bay Pavilions’ own, Katie Stammers and Lachlan Knight, were recognised for their individual contributions. Stammers, nominated for ‘Duty Captain of the Year,’ and Knight, in the race for ‘Emerging Leader of the Year,’ exemplify the passionate dedication of the Bay Pavilions team.
