Employment Opportunities with Mildura Waves

As the warmth of summer draws near, providing much-needed respite from the chill, there’s never been a better time to explore new opportunities. Mildura Waves and its surrounding pools are excited to extend a special invitation to the youth over 16 and retirees of our community. In these challenging economic times, we understand the importance of offering meaningful engagements and flexible work options, or simply more income.

This September and October, Mildura Waves is hosting comprehensive training sessions for anyone interested in becoming a Swim Teacher or a Lifeguard. This is your chance to gain nationally recognised qualifications, you can take anywhere, while ensuring our community enjoys safe and enriching swimming experiences throughout the season. And the best part? Our flexible work schedules are designed to align seamlessly with your lifestyle, whether you’re balancing school, another job, or simply looking for rewarding part-time work during retirement.

To join our courses, you’ll need to have your First Aid and CPR certifications. This ensures that all our trainees are equipped with the essential skills needed to safeguard our swimmers.

  1. Complete a First Aid course at: www.mildurafirstaid.com.au
  2. Book a place for Lifeguard or Swim Teacher training: www.training.lsv.com.au/courses

Summer is a time of opportunity and growth at Mildura Waves. We look forward to welcoming you as part of our vibrant community, helping you achieve your goals, and offering pathways to meaningful, flexible employment. Let’s make this summer one of success and new beginnings!
