Helping Arthritis sufferers find relief

Cardinia Life is proud to partner with the Pakenham Arthritis Self Help (PASH) group to support their Arthritis Management Program through warm water therapy.

Arthritis is a common condition that causes joint pain and stiffness. Exercise in warm water at Cardinia Life can relieve these symptoms by reducing joint inflammation, improving mobility, and strengthening muscles.

The PASH group have been in operation for 20 years, and the current partnership allows them almost exclusive access to the warm water pool at Cardinia Life.

The group attends Cardinia Life four times weekly. It hosts up to 15 participants each session, which has seen the participants build strong community connections.

Cardinia Leisure Manager Paige Kristalyn says the PASH group are an essential part of the community, and the PASH leaders are passionate about their work.

The value of being in the warm water pool is huge for their pain and joints, but I think the way they come together before and after their sessions is the special part They are our most passionate customers and lead in inclusivity and supporting people with Arthritis.
